Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python.
Test Script Development: Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
Automation Development: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python with Selenium for web application testing and regression coverage.
API Testing: Develop and execute API automation test cases using Python libraries (e.g., Requests)
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects with proper reporting and root cause analysis.
Agile Participation: Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3–4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
Strong proficiency in Python programming.
Experience with Selenium using Python.
Experience in API testing and automation.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with Docker or basic DevOps practices.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Experience with reporting tools such as Allure or HTML reporting frameworks.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
